Classes

Although trained in Hatha, Restorative and Adapted yoga, I incorporate various other styles of yoga and pilates, creating a strong focus of connecting breath and movement. We find time to explore and experiment as we take a look at foundation and alignment.

Each practice is tailor-made to the individuals within the class and able to be modified for all levels of experience. If you need a slower-paced, more relaxing session, that will be the focus. If you are up for an energizing flow, bring it on!

The focus is on you and your progression, so you have the opportunity to book a free, private, 30-minute one-on-one discovery session. During this time, you can share what you would like to get out of the classes, your goals and movement restrictions to make the classes work for you.

All equipment is supplied and water is available, you don’t need to bring anything. Just yourself in comfy clothing.

What to expect

CONSULTATION SESSION

30 minutes An opportunity to pick my brain all things yoga related and see if we are a good fit. This chat and movement session sets us up with a plan to achieve your desired goals. We take into account how injuries or habits might be limiting your movement and discover a way forward. Every class is designed for the people attending it, and this session insures that everyone gets something that is specific to their needs.

OPEN CLASS

60 minutes Drawing on decades of trainings and personal practice, I blend various styles of yoga to suit the individual. For example, if we are working towards setting you up for a week long hike, we’ll practice poses to strengthen the legs and glutes, stretches to open the hips, drills to enhance joint mobility and breath awareness practices to encourage endurance and mental stamina. This is an all levels class. I will always give options to add on and modify so we can meet you where you’re at.

SEMI-PRIVATE

60 minutes Best suited for friendship or sports groups who commit to getting together every week to connect and make time to look after themselves. With this individual focus, Meg designs each class to be in line with the goal of the group while being able to adapt each lesson to accommodate injuries or niggles. These classes are not open to the public, and requires a minimum of two participants.

PRIVATE

60 minutes Best suited for individuals with long-term injuries, needing recovery or just a private space to explore their functional movement. This is your time, space, and dedicated class to reach the recovery or flexibility goals you've been after.

RESTORATIVE CLASS

60 minutes If yoga was a meal, restorative would be dessert! Staying low on the mat, we utilize lots of props to support and stretch the body. Designed to soothe the nervous system, great if you are busy, a little frazzled or tired. All classes at night, to unwind from the day and send you home for a blissful sleep.
